Every aspect of Onam vibrates with unity, joy, and cultural heritage, from the entrancing Pookalam to the deep beats of traditional music. We embrace the enticing Onam vibrations; may our hearts be filled with the spirit of togetherness, thankfulness, and pure joy that only this day can bring.
The vibrant and culturally rich Onam celebration has a unique place in the hearts of people all over India, particularly in Kerala. We are also happy to be a part of the whole celebration. We came together to create a memorable Onam celebration this year.
INFONAM, the vibrant and fantastic celebration hosted by Infolks Group
Our Infonam celebration began with a grand feast. This year’s Onam celebration at our company was a blend of traditional majesty. Employees donned a spectrum of traditional Kerala attire, from graceful white and gold kasavu sarees to beautiful mundu shirts for men. Our employees’ traditional costumes contributed to the visual lavishness, creating a beautiful reflection of Kerala’s festive appeal. The office space resembled a colourful canvas and a lovely pookalam.
AthaPookalam: The Beauty of Rich Flowers
AthaPookalam, which is made from a variety of vivid flowers, leaves, and petals, is a visual depiction of harmony, oneness, and nature’s bounty. The first whiff of Onam vibes arrives with blooming flowers that adorn the intricate Pookalam. We decorated our office with different colours that reflected the soul of Onam. The magnificent pookalam that decorated our workplace entryway during the Onam celebration was more than just a beautiful arrangement; it was a manifestation of our collective soul. The traditional flower carpet greeted our entryway, expertly placed by our employees. Our colleagues arrived early in the morning to set up the beautiful pookalam in our office. The various colours of flowers and their smell made the pookalam very precious.
Bright marigolds, delicate jasmines, vibrant dahlias, and a variety of beauty-coloured flowers (Chendumalli, Vadamalli, Jamanti, and so on) were combined in a pleasing colour and texture blend. Moreover, the aroma of the flowers floated through the air, instilling a sense of calm in our workspace. All are thrilled to take selfies around the pookalam with their friends and co-workers.
As a welcome dance, we conducted Thiruvathira. The devotion and excitement of our employee performers were the actual soul of our Onam celebration. Weeks of preparation and cooperation resulted in a spectacular performance that charmed the audience. We were able to witness the beauty of Thiruvathira and its ability to connect us to our roots.

The unforgettable Onam celebration featured fun competitions that showcased our unity, sportsmanship, and a whole lot of competitive spirit. However, we wanted to include an activity that not only entertained but also reflected the spirit of the festival. We conducted,
Vadamvali: The Crowning Moments
The tug of war is a traditional sport that crosses cultures and generations. We regard our Onam celebration as the ideal opportunity to combine tradition with team spirit and fun. As word spread about the approaching Vadamvali match as part of our Onam celebration, real excitement began to permeate the office. Employees formed teams, selected sides, and began lightheartedly mocking each other in the spirit of friendly competition.
The teams gathered at the predetermined location, and the rope was hung. Colleagues who were typically seen working side by side found themselves on opposing sides, ready to pull with all their strength. It wasn’t just about winning; it was about joining together and doing something that would last a lifetime.
Musical Chairs
The thrill of circling chairs, suspenseful music, and the scramble to get a seat combine to create an amazing experience. Smiles, friendly competition, and the occasional burst of laughter filled the air as our colleagues circled about the chairs.
Sundarikku Pottukuthal
The traditional game is very funny and interesting. We place an image of a “girl” on the wall, and participants need to put “pottu” in the correct position on the forehead of the girl. The game was very funny and interesting, which we enjoyed a lot.
Arm Wrestling
We decided to add a touch of tradition to our celebrations by reintroducing the age-old game of arm wrestling. The traditional sport that pits two individuals against each other in a test of strength, technique, and strategy.
We honoured the traditional part of Onam celebrations while smoothly integrating it into our office atmosphere through arm wrestling. The event reaffirmed the notion that cultural traditions can be celebrated in novel ways. Distributed prizes to all winners by the managers. The sweet Payasam distribution ended a memorable day. The vibrant decoration, thrilling voices, and wonderful interaction made this Onam celebration very memorable. We all enjoyed the celebration moments very much.
